Judge Alan Mahon
This week at the Tribunal
It is rare in the operation of his everyday activities that the Chairman loses his cool.Generally, he’s a cool customer. When a witness deliberately avoids answering the question, Alan will give him one or two opportunities to answer before getting stuck in. He may rephrase the question, probe, insist. At times even but-heads to get the answer the inquiry must.
If Tribunal counsel, Des O’Neill is a scalpel then Mahon himself is a buzz-saw, relentless. |
